Enjoying time with the kids!

The weather was going to be decent so I decided to rake up a pile of leaves for the kids to jump in! It was nice to get some good outdoor time in because it cooled off and has been raining off and on ever since.

We also let the kids decorate some Halloween cookies!

Ana wanted to eat the candy instead of putting it on her cookie!

The top left one is Justus' and the one next to it with a few candies is Ana's. The one that says Boo is Dantae's and the other one Rob decorated!

Our Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

We took a little trip out to Garrity's this year! The kids had a blast going on a hayride out to the pumpkin patch and playing around on the maze made out of strawbales. I sampled some apple juice and I believe it was some of the best I've ever had! They have an apple orchard also.

This was our takehome. The first one was Ana's, the tiny one, Justus' and I grabbed a spare just in case one didn't survive, ha! Rob and Dantae chose the gigantic one merely for carving purposes!

Happy 2nd Birthday Lincoln!

Dantae's cat turned two on October 20th so here's a special post just for him! He doesn't get treats very often so we gave him some canned cat food to celebrate.

First Haircut for Our Princess

I took Dantae in for a haircut and ended up getting Ana her 1st haircut too! She wasn't too excited, but we got it done and the best part was, it was free!! She sat with me and trust me, we didn't take very much off. The back looked so fresh though!

Dvorak/Becker Wedding

I am very excited to announce that my sister-in-law is now Mrs. Nathan Becker! It was a beautiful ceremony that took place on September 26th in Pierre, SD. Ana of course had to fall and sort of get a black eye the Thursday night before the wedding. I must say I was pretty pleased with how my children did at the ceremony. Dantae was a junior usher, Justus was a ringbearer, Adriana was a flowergirl, Rob was a groomsmen and I was one of the matron of honors.
I did not take many pictures because I didn't want to keep track of my camera, but here are some of them. I didn't take time to edit any of them.


The hairstylist had curled Ana's hair all up, but after deciding the pins weren't going to hold because of her very fine hair she put it in a pony. She got some pretty glitter put in it too.
